Citizens' School for the Environment

The South Carolina Citizen's School for the Environment will begin its Fall 2009 program on September 15 at 6:30pm.  This program is open to the public and meets weekly through October 20. No scientific expertise is required or assumed. The program is designed for those who wish to explore the scientific, technological, social, and ethical issues surrounding the environment.

Each week, participants meet with an expert to discuss topics such as water management, climate change, renewable energy policy, and environmental ethics. The cost for participation is $30, which includes all of the sessions, and access to readings. Please email Holly Groover ( or call 777-2210 for more information.
